This Flat Bar is designed to put the rider at 12 o clock when scraping. It attaches cleanly to the sub frame and underneath the tail, ending 1″ past the tail of the motorcycle. The back plate angle is precision cut. The top of the plate will make contact with the ground first, allowing for a smooth slide and preventing it from catching the variations in pavement and causing unnecessary stress on the sub frame.
• Base Plate made of 2 x ¼” steel plate. Flat bar made of 1 ¼” x ¼” steel plate.
• Skid plate is ¼” thick and tapped to reduce weight and allow for optimal grinding surface
• Powder coated glossy black or white (custom colors are available for additional cost; please inquire).
• Grade 8 mounting hardware included
• 2 holes per side of mounting bracket are drilled for precise mounting. The holes are placed to bolt trough the top and bottom tubing of the sub frame to allow for maximum strength.
• Flat bar is a two piece design. The flat bar section bolts to the mounting bracket. This allows for the flat bar to be swapped out with a round bar without changing the base plate. This is great for riders to learn how to scrap on a flat bar and later go to a round bar when they progress.
